As parents, it’s natural to feel that our speech-delayed child is unique and faces challenges unlike any other. However, it's important to understand that children with similar difficulties often fall into what we call "buckets"—categories that help professionals diagnose and treat them. These buckets group children with similar patterns, providing a general direction for what to do and what the main goals should be.

It means that others have faced similar challenges, and there are proven strategies and solutions out there that have worked for other children just like yours.
